This is a Valspar Ad for a new longer lasting vibrant paint. The design is clean and the emotion it's selling is that the color can last a life time, meaning that as vibrant as you remember things, they now will be just as clear as you remember. Tapping into the emotions of beauty and relevance items and colors hold in everyone's mind/memories.
This is a Kay Jewelers' Ad. This picture taps into the emotion of love between family members even through the distance. I'm guessing the husband gave her the watch or something before deployment, or her wedding ring, and the clarity of the gem signifies his love for her. The emotion sells this because it's kind of an other wise bitter sweet scene.
